Obel is a Weather tracking and data logging device built using ESP32s3, Temperature SHT25 sensor, Rain pulse sensor, Wind sonic peripheral (RS485 sensor ), SD Card integration, GSM module, I2C Protocol, LCD screen, Keypad input, RTC chip, ADC, etc. Equipped with sensors and communication capabilities, Obel delivers real-time weather data from multiple stations, empowering the weather station to stay informed and prepare Alerts in any weather Conditions

Obel Systems Pvt. Ltd. a Hydro-Meteorological Solution providing company. Their device called DLX5C Obel Device is a real-time weather monitoring system designed for the Hydrology and Meteorology Department of the Government of India. It uses advanced sensors like the SHT25 Temperature sensor, a Rain pulse sensor, and a Wind sonic peripheral (RS485 sensor) to provide accurate real-time weather data.

The device features an integrated GSM module with dual SIM cards, ensuring continuous data transmission to remote servers via FTP and HTTPS. The Officer in charge can receive current weather updates by sending commands to the device’s Unique Station ID. If network issues arise, the Obel Device securely stores data on an SD card and resumes transmission once the connection is re-established. Users can also retrieve specific day’s data using the Data Logger Command.

The device offers customizable update intervals for timely weather forecasts and supports Over-The-Air (OTA) updates and USB connections for firmware updates and configurations. Its built-in ADC feature ensures precise analog signal measurements, enhancing data accuracy. Users can easily view station ID, temperature, wind speed, wind direction, and rainfall on the LCD display by navigating with the keypad.
