About Web Crawler Plugin
Problem: There are many websites that are in-accessible for the visually impaired people. These websites do not follow the web accessibility guidelines.
Solution: A reporting tool that crawls websites usually government websites and compares whether or not it is accessible by the visually impaired & sends back reports. This encourages diversity & inclusion.
To address the problem, we developed a website crawler application. The website crawler plugin is a cloud based accessibility reporting tool developed for i-stem (Inclusive-Stem), a Bangalore based startup that supports people with disabilities using technology, community and support. The software is an initiative by the startup to make the government of India websites accessible for the visually impaired.
