About DSMR
DSMR is designed for smart homes, industrial facilities and hospitality infrastructures requiring reliable energy monitoring and analytics. The solution communicates with Dutch smart meters through a UART interface, collecting and processing meter data locally before transmitting it securely to cloud platforms using MQTT.
To support scalable deployments, the system offers both WiFi and Ethernet connectivity options. A captive portal-based provisioning mechanism simplifies device onboarding and network configuration during installation. The platform also includes OTA firmware updates with rollback protection, ensuring secure and reliable remote maintenance throughout the device lifecycle.
