About Slato App
Krishworks has long been committed to delivering English literacy and education solutions for rural students. Our earlier solutions were teacher-led, but the pandemic catalyzed a shift to student-driven digital learning.
Slato was launched during the COVID-19 pandemic to support students from village schools in continuing their education remotely. Originally intended for our existing student base, the app’s success and impact have led to broader adoption — notably by Aditya Birla Insulators as part of their CSR initiative in the Rishra belt of West Bengal.
To date, the app has supported over 1 lakh students in West Bengal, offering structured content for grades covering Science, Math, and English, with multi-language support for use across various Indian states.

Rich Multimedia Content
Grade-wise video lessons and image/audio-video-based quizzes help students learn through engaging and interactive formats. The app offers 12 different types of quizzes for concept reinforcement.
The app has contents for grade wise Science, Maths, English and supports multi-language features so as to be used in any state.
Student Activity Tracking
Every student’s quiz scores, videos watched, usage patterns, and overall activity can be monitored for performance analysis.
The mobile app consists of video lessons and audio-video and image based quizzes. It has 12 different types of quizzes.
QR Code Integration
The app can scan any QR code , allowing students to instantly access lessons from QR-coded books . This feature also enables remote admissions and student registration.
The activity, app usage timings, quiz scores, videos watched etc. can be tracked for each and every student.
Online Assessments
The app supports time-bound online tests . Students can upload handwritten answers by clicking pictures within the allotted time for evaluation.
The app can scan any QR code. This helps the students to scan and study from our QR coded books. The QR coded feature has also helped with student admission & students registration completely on a remote level.
Teacher Dashboard & Live Classes
A dedicated dashboard allows teachers to monitor student progress, and schedule Zoom video sessions for live online classes when needed.
Features of conducting time based online tests. Students can also click pictures of their answer sheet and submit it on the app within the time based test.
In-App Notifications & Dynamic Sharing
Features like dynamic link sharing and in-app notifications make Slato highly effective for branding and outreach on platforms like WhatsApp and social media.
A dashboard for teachers to monitor students’ progress and schedule zoom video conferencing to take online classes when needed.
