Custody Protect (Smart handcuff for prisoners)

A comprehensive Internet of Medical Things system utilising ESP32 for a WiFi Mesh network, integrated with Azure IoT, Heart Rate Sensor, Accelerometer, Bluetooth (BLE), FreeRTOS, Arduino, LoRaWAN, UWB and RFID technologies to monitor and transmit health data from US prisoners under arrest, ensuring secured transmission of data through MQTT.

About Custody Protect
This is an example of IoT in healthcare industry where the police officers can monitor the health status of each prisoner with Custody Protect and take actions on time to prevent deaths of prisoners caused by inconsistent health conditions by measuring parameters like – Critical high/low heart rates, High Exertion, Tampering etc.
The police officers can track the activity status of prisoners using industrial IoT sensors such as Accelerometer(for movement) and will also receive an alert whenever an inconsistent incident happens with the help of our Smart Health Devices.
The Entire Stack – Backend, User Apps, Firmware, PCB Design have been developed end to end by our team
