Since our inception, we’ve been rooted in the mission of rural education — building apps and learning platforms used across government and village schools.
In 2020, as the world moved online, fellow startups and incubator peers from IIM Calcutta turned to us for fast, reliable digital platforms. What began as crisis support became a new chapter of impact.
We quietly became the tech backbone for startups and enterprises — enabling them to stay visible, accessible and competitive in a digital-first world.

Inception of Team Krishna
A team of volunteers to compete for the Global Learning Xprize, an organisation with philanthropists like Elon Musk, Ratan Tata, and James Cameron on its board. The goal was to build software that helps less privileged children learn to read, write, and communicate. Ended up in the top 20 out of 198 global teams, setting the base for Krishworks

Was founded to build IOT prototypes, full-scale solutions, and SaaS software (APAC)
Upskilling and empowering rural teachers
School onboarding starts: To help kids in rural areas read, write, and communicate in English by upskilling rural teachers and empowering them with technology

Research and development of Gurukul software
A team of 30+ volunteers across India helped with research and development of Gurukul software – as part of Xprize submission. The software supported English and Swahili language, with deployments intended for Tanzania.

A serious coder and friendly mentor, Kaushik leads a team of young developers and has executed complex technical projects. A strong believer in passing on everything he learns in life, a self-learner to solve problems and masters hobbies like guitar, snooker and table tennis.
Previous Technical Experiences in industries like casino gaming, telecom fraud detection and BIOS utilities.

Subhajit brings experience from DRDO projects and developing a healthcare gadget adopted by the Govt. of India. Drove Dhanvantri to the top 3 finalist in Xprize as chief architect. He’s passionate, helpful & jovial about great work culture. Subhajit’s ideology in life is to dream insane and work towards it.
Gargi Mazumdar
Believer & Problem Solver, 10 years experience
As a self-motivated individual, Gargi actively drives company strategies, project planning, processes and operations. She played a key role in expanding the company by initiating and conceptualizing its technology segment. A problem solver who brings in strategies significant for the company’s growth regularly.
Together, they’ve created not only a company — but a culture of technical depth, continuous learning, and people-first impact.
Kaushik, Subhajit and Gargi had previously participated in Global Learning Xprize (2014-2017), after which they gave up their regular software jobs to build the rural education segment of Krishworks (www.krishworks.com). The years of experience of working towards bringing technology to the rural market, gave them an extra edge to understand the client requirements of the tech projects they undertake.
