About Private Mic
PrivateMic combines a custom ESP32-based recording device with a companion mobile application to create a seamless voice-to-knowledge workflow. Users can capture audio with a single button press, while the system securely transfers recordings to the mobile application over BLE or WiFi for processing.
The platform leverages advanced AI services for speech-to-text transcription and intelligent summarization, helping users quickly review and understand key information from their recordings. To ensure maximum privacy, all audio files and generated summaries are automatically stored in the user’s personal Google Drive account, with no data retained on developer-controlled servers.
Beyond simple recording, PrivateMic provides an intelligent search and question-answering experience across historical recordings, allowing users to retrieve information and uncover insights from past conversations.
